"And that because of FALSE BRETHREN unawares brought in, who came in privily to SPY
OUT OUR LIBERTY which we have IN CHRIST JESUS, that they might BRING US INTO BONDAGE: 5 To whom we gave place by subjection,
NO, NOT FOR AN HOUR; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
Here the judaizers came in privily to spy out the Christian's liberty.
These were legalistic Jews. Jewish Wannabes are legalistic by default.
So they probably pretended to be Christians and joined the believing assembly,
speaking the lingo going through the motions.
But their purpose was to:
1) 'spy out our liberty'
2) "that they might BRING US INTO BONDAGE'
So they look like us, and talk like us for a while but soon make it clear what
their real intentions are.
They secretly join Christian egroups pretending to be free but their main intentions
are to put others into bondage, just like themselves.
They want to make us prisoners like themselves.
They want us to obsess about what they are obsessing about.
They want others to obsess about all things Jewish as they do.
What is worse about Jewish Wannabes is that they are not even Jewish, they just wannabe.
But the Jew before the Word descended is not the only one that is not free.
Catholics, Muslims or those in the cults that haven't comprehended 'our Great God and
Saviour Jesus Christ' haven't personally experienced the 'grace of God' that has appeared to all men. (Titus 2)
They are eternally insecure and have never experienced complete forgiveness.
If it walks, quacks, and swims like a duck it is not necessarily a duck, it could just
wannabe or think it is a duck.
It could really be a swan but no one ever told it that being a swan is cool.
Its all right and fine to be a duck if you are a duck but if your not then it is only
a delusion.
Even so if a Gentile wants to be a Jew they are in effect forsaking the higher purpose
that God has for them and returning to a time prior to the finished work of Christ, where there were ethnic distinctions.
(Matthew 10:5)
When I discovered the mysteries that Paul the apostle preached to all, including the
Gentiles I knew that this was God's higher plan.
Only because of the mysteries in this present dispensation can we say, 'there
is no difference between Jew and Gentile.' This doesn't mean that one becomes the other but that we spiritually transcend
these ethnic and biological identifiers. 'The Two Become One New Man.' (Ephesians 2)
But this doesn't mean that God doesn't have a plan for Physical and Spiritual Israel
in the end. (Ezekiel 36)
It is only when one is ignorant of the mysteries or their implications that they become
vulnerable to legalistic, obsessive inclinations of the Jews prior to the revelation of the mysteries.
The messianic movement has its role for jews in the end and it is a beautiful plan
for the Jew of that time.
How do you identify a Jewish Wannabe?
They go by many labels, Seventh Day Adventists, Messianics, Catholics, British Israelites,
etc.
But they may not even admit to one of these labels.
However, you will notice a tendency for them to quote Peter to the neglect of
Paul, the OT to the neglect of the New.
Really being Gentiles, they start taking on Jewish names or creating Jewish titles
for their groups.
They often will say they are not Jews but their actions say otherwise.
They surround themselves with those that are like them.
They major on the minors and leave the majors to the dogs.
They are willing to join with heretics just to resist those that don't wanna be Jews.
They reject the mysteries that transcend and instead choose to be identified by
Jewish lingo and behaviour.
"While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the
Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify
God. Then answered Peter, 47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received
the Holy Ghost as well as we? 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they
him to tarry certain days." (Acts 10)
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of
this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until
the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. (Romans 11)
Notice that the conceited ones are those that are ignorant of the mysteries and think
they are wise apart from these revelations.
