If I had a dollar for every person that implied or said that Christian
Love means following the line of least resistance, I would be a millionaire.
This definition of Love witholds the whole truth from Christian
and Non-Christian in the interest of so-called peace and unity.
The Bible says that in the last days,
There will be an a falling away, an apostasy from the faith (1
Timothy 4:1)
there will be those that 'will not endure sound doctrine ...being
...turned unto fables. (2 Timothy 4:3,4)
The Bible also says that the right and loving thing to do is,
'rejoice in the truth' (1 Corinthians 13)
'expose the unfruitful works of darkness' (Ephesians 5:11)
'mark those that divide the church' (Romans 16:17)
'point out these things'(1 Timothy 4:6)
Still, the world and worldly Christians are there to quote their
favorite verse about not judging. What they miss is that Christ condemns unsubstantiated and superficial judgment not righteous
judgment (John 7:24)
What loving parent would let their children play with matches without
warning them of the dangers. Today the world and worldly churches/Christians are literally playing with fire while at the
same time accusing those that say so as unloving and judgmental.
We will examine what Real Love, Peace and Unity is and how it is
as far from the World's definition as Heaven is from Hell. We will warn of the coming apostasy in agape-Love because that
is what Jesus and His followers did and commanded us to do.
The ones that I usually get condemned by are those that just live
and let live.
They suppose that people are going to come to the truth through
wishful thinking or osmosis.
Granted, no one comes to the Lord unless the Spirit drags them,
but the scripture makes it clear our role in the matter.
I believe that Christ and the apostle Paul demonstrated what Love
was and is and they didn't withhold the truth in the interest of peace and unity.
Unity in error is not unity at all.
Jesus said the following to the Pretenders of his day:
" But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut
up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in...."
(Matthew 23)
We can easily see its application today.
Paul the apostle said this of Hymaenus and Philetus,
"And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus
and Philetus; 18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith
of some." (2 Timothy 2)
He even singled out these individuals.
He says to be imitators of him as he is of Christ.
A group I was a member of was completely dead until I entered.
Even the moderator couldn't resurrect this group.
But just speaking the truth got all kinds of angry responses from
Preterists.
I was supposed to be concerned about Preterists being angry at
me.
Supposedly, these witnesses to my frankness were supposed to make
me want to stop.
Christians often want you to do what they consider the down and
dirty work but after you do it they act shocked and then condemn you for it.
It's just a matter of time and these kind of groups will grow silent
again and then they will pray for someone who has the intestinal fortitude to speak up again.
