Continuing to look at this subject an obvious question to ask is,'Why Do Jewish Wannabes Attack?

Whether they be Catholic, British Israelites, Judaizers, Seventh Day Adventists, or Preterists etc., I think some common reasons for their aggression should be looked at.

1) Unbelief.

"And that because of FALSE BRETHREN unawares brought in, who came in privily to SPY OUT OUR LIBERTY which we have IN CHRIST JESUS, that they might BRING US INTO BONDAGE: 5 To whom we gave place by subjection, NO, NOT FOR AN HOUR; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you. 6 But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference ADDED NOTHING TO ME: 7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; 8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:) 9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who SEEMED TO BE PILLARS, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that WE SHOULD GO UNTO THE HEATHEN, AND THEY UNTO THE CIRCUMCISION. " (Galatians 2)

I bring up these scriptures and put in CAPS some of it, so that I can elaborate on this point and my future points.

In the first point we see that they were FALSE BRETHREN.

Often we want to think that if only folks would know how to properly interpret scripture, then everything would be solved.

This is not always the case. Many times the reason is unbelief. It is not that they are unable to believe due to incorrect methods of interpretation, it is really because they refuse to believe.

I have made this statement in regards to Catholicism, Seventh Day Adventism and Preterism as well.

This is not How to Win friends and influence people but is the truth.

How could God judge anyone if all it was about is faulty methods of interpretation.

A formula that I have used and is a modification of an old formula is, If the plain sense makes sense, seek no other sense to replace it, lest you end up with nonsense. Now this might seem like an extrabiblical doctrine but really it means Believe God when he says something.

Another one is 'If God didn't mean what He said, then why didn't he say what he meant.'

The Preterist doesn't believe God. He doesn't believe Christ will come back as he left, though the scriptures PLAINLY say he would. (Acts 1:11; Zechariah 12-14)

The Preterist says God is done with Israel as a nation, though the OT PLAINLY says He isn't. (Ezekiel 36)

The Catholic believes that Christ needs Mary and our help in order for his sacrifice to be sufficient though the Scripture plainly says that His sacrifice is sufficient. (Hebrews 10:12)

The Catholics just like the Pharisees think that God forgot to clarify some things in His Word and need their help with commentary, though the Bible plainly says that scripture is sufficient to thoroughly furnish unto every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16,17)

Looking at the same verses in the previous message we see another reason for Why Jewish Wannabes Attack:

2) To Bring Us Into Bondage

We have already established the unbelief factor.

Now let's look at the next reason which is, 'SPY OUT OUR LIBERTY which we have IN CHRIST JESUS, that they might BRING US INTO BONDAGE:' (Galatians 2)

One thing that I have noticed throughout my life is that some people don't like it when they see happy people.

The reason for this is that they themselves are not happy.

If I'm not happy then you shouldn't be happy.

It is true that 'misery loves company.'

This is why they will attack you.

They want you to become miserable like they are.

This is also why Christ said of the Pharisees, "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves." (Matthew 23)

Jewish Wannabes act the same way the Rabbinic Jews act and acted in the gospels.

I love the book of Ephesians because it talks about who and what we are IN CHRIST JESUS.

We are:

'redeemed through His blood' (1:7)

'More Than Conquerors'

'Blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies' (Ephesians 1:3)

There are many more blessings that come through being 'IN CHRIST'

More Reasons that Jewish Wannabes Attack to come.

... Here we have point #3, which may often be a byproduct of either point #1 or #2. 3) Confusion

If you notice in the above passage that there seems to be two different programs going on.

This should be of special notice to Judaizers and Catholics who Rob Paul to pay Peter.

Firstly, Paul is not impressed with the council because he says that they , ' ADDED NOTHING TO ME' AND ' WHO SEEMED TO BE PILLARS'

This would make a Catholic cringe.

Peter is Papa and Paul doesn't seemed too impressed by their authority over him, though he does present this subject to them.

This is probably so that the Gentile's liberty wouldn't make the lesser liberated Jews stumble.

Read 1 Corinthians 8; Romans 14; Colossians 2

"But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. 21 FOR MOSES of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day." (Acts 15)

But notice in Galatians Two that part of what they concluded was that they should go to the Jews and Paul to the Gentiles.

"they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that WE SHOULD GO UNTO THE HEATHEN, AND THEY UNTO THE CIRCUMCISION. " (Galatians 2)

Looks like two programs to me.

Looks like the Catholics and Jewish Wannabes have gone by way of the twelve, while dispies have gone the way of Paul.

Now back to the third point which is confusion.

When you confuse or mix up these two programs, you apply what is true of Israel to the body of Christ.

In other words, you in effect become a Jewish Wannabe.

You have taken what God said he would irresistably do for the Jew, and applied it to the Church. (Ezekiel 36)
