An apology for the advertisements above this page.
Exposing the darkness is the purpose of this site, the advertisers above will have to answer to the
Lord for what they have presented.
What is in the left hand column, at MaxwellsHouse and down below is what represents the biblical view.
"..find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with
the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them...everything exposed by the light becomes visible." (Ephesians 5:11)
Mile High or Miles Apart Ministries?
A Mighty Fortress is our Church:
Has unleashing the Church and creating the 'Purpose Driven Church' helped to point the
world to the ministry of reconciliation or unleashed programs of alienation and segregation?
Are Mile High Ministries really Miles Apart Ministries and just a cleverly repackaged
Fortress Mentality that has divided the church rather than unite? |

Janis listed eight symptoms that were indicative of groupthink:
1) Illusion of invulnerability
2) Unquestioned belief in the inherent morality of the group
3) Collective rationalization of group's decisions
4) Shared stereotypes of outgroup, particularly opponents
5) Self-censorship; members withhold criticisms
6) Illusion of unanimity
7) Direct pressure on dissenters to conform
8) Self-appointed "mindguards" protect the group from negative information

This site is for the purpose of answering the attacks against
Christ and Christianity.
There are too many false accusations that have gone unanswered.
I will present arguments from many groups out there.
The church is experiencing an attack of biblical proportions
and the attack has taken many forms. Some of these attacks are from replacing the plain sense interpretation of scripture
that makes sense with allegory or figurative interpretations, Judaism, Mormonism, Catholicism, Preterism, Liberalism,
New Age Movement, Jehovah's Witnesses, changing the Bible rather than being changed etc.
Another reason Christianity is under fire is because it
is no longer ON FIRE. Churches sometime 'have the reputation of being alive, but in fact are dead." (Revelation 3:1-4)
Really being quite active organizationally but lacking body life and the 'leading and power of the spirit.' (2 Timothy
3:5) This lukewarm church makes the Lord sick and is counselled to repent. (Revelation 3:3)
On this site we want to discuss and debate the different forms these attacks take and what Christians can do to
combat it.
Here we believe the best defense is a good offense.
Often churches forget that the Lord said to
'Go Ye' and assume that all they are required to do is build a church and 'they will come'
However, the word is clear
that we need to 'go', (Matthew 28;19,20) which means that we to be aggressive and all inclusive in our outreach.
This
is what the early Christians did. Their main base was Jerusalem and Antioch.
Often churches have things called retreats
where they can recharge their batteries. The retreat isn't meant to be permanent but an equipping for the aggressive ministry
of reconciliation. (2 Cor. 5)
